The cinema Capitol in Solothurn will host the swiss premiere of our It.Aliens during the Solothurner Filmtage 2010, on Wednesday, January 27th at 14:30.
Clemens will be present, while Lukas unfortunately will be stuck with the first exams at SUPSI Lugano.
Also noteworthy: Christian Schocher's "Reisender Krieger" will be re-premiered on January 13th at 20:00 in the Filmpodium Zürich. Clemens will also be there in the capacity of cameraman.
Unser lieber Freund, großartiger Bildhauer mit Zweitstudio in Bevagna, Wenzel Pozarek hat endlich die gebührende Ehrung erfahren: er ist vorne auf dem Du. 
Der alte Uhrenschmugglerkrimi der AKS, "Die Fabrikanten" wird morgen Freitag 27. November um 14 Uhr auf 3-sat gezeigt.
Mit Melitta Gautschy (im Bild), Walo Lüönd, Fred Haltiner, Hansruedi Twerenbold, Adolph Spalinger und andere. Deutsche Synchronversion.
Die Schweizerdeutsche Fassung wurde diesen Sommer von SF restauriert und wird wohl auch bald ausgestrahlt.
Unser neuer Film, The It.Aliens (erster Teil) ist nach der überraschenden Einladung an die Mostra in Venedig von vielen Festivals gefragt. Details später.

We are very proud, after the premiere in Venice (as surprise film in Corto Cortissimo), to attend the film festival SulmonaCinema in the earthquake-hit town Sulmona in Abruzzo with George Clooney: he will get a "silver Ovidius" for his career and we'll get a special presentation of "The It.Aliens".
The press conference will be held on the following Friday.
These self-portraits have been drawn in 1999, to illustrate the white paper about the swiss film crysis, commissioned by the former minister of culture Ruth Dreifuss. The critic text in the paper - and unfortunately the drawings as well - were then rejected by David Streiff, out of fear for public uproar at the film festival of Locarno.
It.Aliens will be presented as surprise and closing film at the Biennale del Cinema di Venezia, section "Corto, Cortissimo", on September 10th and 12th.
Die grosse Retrospektive ist organisiert: sie beginnt am 17. September mit einem Film aus dem Jahre 1940 von Albert Klopfenstein und mit der Uraufführung von einem gemeinsamen Film von Lukas Tiberio und mir.
Serena und ich sind eine Woche lang anwesend und am AKS Abend ist auch Urs Aebersold dabei.

Ab 18. September gibt es eine grosse Retrospektive meiner Filme im Filmmuseum München. Da soll auch der neue Film von mir und unserem Sohn Lukas Tiberio "The It.Aliens" uraufgeführt werden (Kuratorin: Claudia Engelhardt).

Desweitern: mein Umbrien-Roman (anstatt eines Tatort-Drehbuchs geschrieben) wird hoffentlich bald die endgültige Form erhalten haben, möglicher Titel: "Pozzorotto und die Leichtigkeit des Schweins" und in einem Jahr ist wiederum bei Maxe Sommer und Stella Barmettler eine neue Bilderausstellung geplant im Haus der Kunst Solothurn. Möglicher Titel: "Tempelsucht".
Zuguterletzt weise ich gerne auf die Eröffnung des "Grottino" unserer Freunde Annelie Büchner und George Meyer-Goll hin: ab 1. Mai führen sie hier in der Nähe Bevagnas eine kleine Kneipe und ein Bed & Breakfast...
...und auf die Ausstellung der neuesten Bilder von Markus Dulk bei Silvia Steiner in Biel. Eröffnung am 25. Mai.

The short film "Weg nach Rio" will be shown at the Solothurner Filmtage: in the Landhaus cinema on January 21st at 12:00 and in the Kino Palace on 23rd January at 12. Serena and I will be attending the festival and the screenings.
In the meantime Lukas will be attending the International Film Festival Rotterdam, where the film will be shown as well, in the "Bright Future" section.
