About this website

Klopfenstein.net is the official website of the swiss Klopfenstein family (Clemens, Serena, Lukas and Lorenz) currently living in Bevagna, Italy.

The website is split in four sections for each family member, dedicated to their respective interests and activities.

Technical stuff

This website works best using the Opera browser and has also been tested using Internet Explorer 7 and 8, Firefox and Google Chrome.

The server is hosted by Aruba and is based on Microsoft Windows Server 2003. Out custom Babil CMS powers the website, based on the ASP.NET MVC framework, NHibernate 2.0 and Lucene.net, backed by a MySQL database.

All markup code is valid according to W3C XHTML 1.0 strict criteria.
