Walo Lüönd is turning 80 and on January 22nd at 17:30 "Die Fabrikanten" will be shown in his honor at the Kino Palace in Solothurn.

"Eine Nachtlang Füürland" will be shown at the Filmpodium Zürich on March 10th and 16th.

The movie "St. Francis' Birds Tour" will be shown on March 4th 23:40 on Television Suisse-Romande channel 1.

Clemens Klopfenstein has lived the Globus riots of 1968 in first person as film student. His life-changing experience is now being reported on an article of the Tages-Anzeiger newspaper.

Clemens will be guest of honor at the 30th anniversary of the Max Ophüls Award Filmfestivals in Saarbrücken (26th Jan to 1st Feb 2009). Besides showing the award-winning "E nachtlang Füürland", some of his new productions will be presented ("Die Vogelpredigt" and "The it.aliens" among others). Clemens will also be chairing a masterclass for young german film students.

Retrospective of Clemens Klopfenstein's short films at the Regensburger Kurzfilmwoche. Additionally, premiere of the two short films "Rio" and "The it.aliens" by Lukas Tiberio Klopfenstein.

In november two of my films will be shown at the Kino Xenix in Zürich, within the program "CH-Indie-Commedies":

Unser Vicolo mit den neun Erdbebenbögen von 1832.

Ab 18. September gibt es eine grosse Retrospektive meiner Filme im Filmmuseum München. Da soll auch der neue Film von mir und unserem Sohn Lukas Tiberio "The It.Aliens" uraufgeführt werden (Kuratorin: Claudia Engelhardt).

Desweitern: mein Umbrien-Roman (anstatt eines Tatort-Drehbuchs geschrieben) wird hoffentlich bald die endgültige Form erhalten haben, möglicher Titel: "Pozzorotto und die Leichtigkeit des Schweins" und in einem Jahr ist wiederum bei Maxe Sommer und Stella Barmettler eine neue Bilderausstellung geplant im Haus der Kunst Solothurn. Möglicher Titel: "Tempelsucht".

Zuguterletzt weise ich gerne auf die Eröffnung des "Grotto" unserer Freunde Annelie und George hin: ab 1. Mai führen sie hier in der Nähe Bevagnas eine kleine Kneipe und ein Bed & Breakfast...

...und auf die Ausstellung der neuesten Bilder von Markus Dulk bei Silvia Steiner in Biel. Eröffnung am 25. Mai.
