We are very proud, after the premiere in Venice (as surprise film in Corto Cortissimo), to attend the film festival SulmonaCinema in the earthquake-hit town Sulmona in Abruzzo with George Clooney: he will get a "silver Ovidius" for his career and we'll get a special presentation of "The It.Aliens".
The press conference will be held on the following Friday.
Unser neuer Film, The It.Aliens (erster Teil) ist nach der überraschenden Einladung an die Mostra in Venedig von vielen Festivals gefragt. Details später.

Der alte Uhrenschmugglerkrimi der AKS, "Die Fabrikanten" wird morgen Freitag 27. November um 14 Uhr auf 3-sat gezeigt.
Mit Melitta Gautschy (im Bild), Walo Lüönd, Fred Haltiner, Hansruedi Twerenbold, Adolph Spalinger und andere. Deutsche Synchronversion.
Die Schweizerdeutsche Fassung wurde diesen Sommer von SF restauriert und wird wohl auch bald ausgestrahlt.
The cinema Capitol in Solothurn will host the swiss premiere of our It.Aliens during the Solothurner Filmtage 2010, on Wednesday, January 27th at 14:30.
Clemens will be present, while Lukas unfortunately will be stuck with the first exams at SUPSI Lugano.
Also noteworthy: Christian Schocher's "Reisender Krieger" will be re-premiered on January 13th at 20:00 in the Filmpodium Zürich. Clemens will also be there in the capacity of cameraman.
“The it.Aliens” will be shown at the Grenzlandfilmtagen festival in Selb, 8th-11th April. The closing program SwissDiamonds will also include “Der Augenschein des Amtsgerichts” by Albert Klopfenstein 1939, “Darf die Schweiz nicht verlassen” by Clemens Klopfenstein 1966 and “Weg nach Rio” by Lukas and Clemens Klopfenstein. Lukas und Clemens will be present in Selb.
The good old “Geschichte der Nacht” is having an unexpected revival!
The movie will be shown at the Videoex-Festival in Zürich in May. Then it will also be presented in Basel during the public lecture “Geschichten des Lichts” by Prof. Ute Holl in the Stadtkino on May 31st. On June 20th at 19:00 it will by shown in Biel, at the Centre Pasquart.
And the hollandish TV DOC will broadcast it as well.
If everything works as planned, Lukas and Clemens will be shooting three shorts this summer:

“Geschichte der Nacht” has been selected for the special program “50 years of swiss documentaries” at the Festival dei Popoli in Florence (13-20th November).
Clemens Klopfenstein will be a member of the international jury of the Filmfestivals Mannheim-Heidelberg (15-21st november).
The shooting of “Figures in a Nightscape”, the tribute movie to 60 years of Filmguild in Biel by Lukas and Clemens, have begun. The first takes with Diego Fratini are already in the box.
A big thank you to Stefan Hugentobler, Anita Vozza and Noah for allowing us to stay at their house for the week it took us to do the shooting. The next round will start in a couple of weeks, at the end of august.
We are very pleased that ubu.com (an online collection of the most important experimental movies) now also includes “Geschichte der Nacht” (Story of the night).

Mit viel Glück und Schnee haben wir in Biel mit Peter Wyssbrod und Ben Jeger den dritten Teil des Jubiläumsfilms der Filmgilde Biel, “Figures in a Nightscape”, gedreht.
Letzer Dreh: die Mitglieder der Filmgilde im Kino Apollo, am 28. und 30. Januar. Bitte nicht in die Kamera schauen.
Die Montage beginnt nach den Prüfungen von Lukas an der SUPSI und könnte sich wegen der RS auch etwas verzögern...
